23 Mar NEWS: Apartment 40C Transfers to the St James Studio

It has been announced that Tom Lees and Ray Rackham‘s five-star musical Apartment 40C is transferring to the St James Studio for a strictly limited run this April. Following a sell-out run at the London Theatre Workshop last year, the production has been re-worked and more songs added to the exquisite score, taking us even further inside the psyches of the characters.

Most of the “unanimously outstanding” original cast return to the show, including Alex Crossley, Alex James Ellison, Lizzie Wofford, Nova Skipp and Peter Gerald, and they welcome Johnjo Flynn to the company for this new, extended production.

Told over the course of one evening, the sophisticated bitter-sweet story examines decades of love, happiness, regret and loss. The emotionally powerful lyrics and melodies engage on every level to reveal how fate, change and choice play out within past and present relationships.

In awarding Apartment 40C a full five stars last time around, we described it as “breathtakingly beautiful,”, and even went as far as to say that, “it really is apparent that something special has been created in the apartment above a pub in Fulham”. And we can’t wait to see how far that “something special” can go. Read our review here.
