From 8th – 26th October 2014, a new, futuristic adaptation of Shakespeare’s The Tempest is coming to the Waterloo East Theatre. Set to an original soundtrack this new abridged version takes us to London 2080, natural disasters have swamped the world, countries as we know them are lost to see. A boat has been swept up the Thames Estuary and is shipwrecked on the Southbank. The survivors look to the locals for sanctuary.

The cast includes: Sy Thomas (comedian/presenter Nickelodeon, CITV’s Cool Stuff Collective) and Tom Keller (Cilla, Dr Who, The Borgias, Eastenders, Wire in The Blood, and Ladybird Ladybird (BBC). Also: Rebecca Hazel, Matthew Harper, Chipo Kureya, Andrea Bergamimi, Guy Woolf, Lucy Hazel, Alex Morgan, Jamie Brotherston, Daniel Everitt-Lock, Drew Michael Gardner, Anna Britton and Lucy Thomas.
