21 Jul Cast Update – Matilda the Musical

The Royal Shakespeare Company’s Matilda The Musical, currently showing at the Cambridge Theatre in the West End, has announced a cast change from this September.

Incoming cast:
Miss Trunchbull – Craige Els
Matilda – Matilda Shapland and Violet Tucker

Cast remaining in their current roles:
Matilda – Tasha Chapple and Lottie Sicilia
Mr Wormwood – James Clyde
Mrs Wormwood – Kay Murphy
Miss Honey – Haley Flaherty; Lara Denning from 29 September – 26 October
The Escapologist – Antony Lawrence
Michael Wormwood – Joshua Wyatt
Doctor – Tommy Sherlock

Outgoing cast:
Miss Trunchbull – Alex Gaumond
Matilda – Cara Jenkins and Lollie McKenzie

Adult cast includes: Lucy Jane Adcock, Fabian Aloise, Ashley Cooper, Jonathan Cordin, Ashleigh Drew, Nicholas Duncan, Demi Goodman, William Kenning, Antony Lawrence, Max Parker, Lisa Davina Phillip, Charlotte Scott, Tommy Sherlock, Hollie Taylor, Amy Thornton, Jason Winter and Joshua Wyatt.

The young performers who will play the roles of Bruce, Lavender, Amanda, Nigel, Eric and the other pupils at Crunchem Hall from September are:
