Javert (from 16th June 2014)

After four years away from the Queen’s Theatre, David Thaxton returns to Les Misérables following stints in Passion, Love Never Dies and Candide. Having joined the show at 18, he played various roles over ten years, David has maturing from Enjolras now to Javert.

Awards: Olivier Award for Best Actor in a Musical (2011)

Training: Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama

Enjolras, Courfeyrac, Bamatabois and first cover Bishop of Digne in Les Misérables (Queen’s Theatre), Giorgio in Passion (Donmar Warehouse), Raoul in Love Never Dies (Adelphi Theatre), Maximilian in Candide (Menier Chocolate Factory), Harasta in The Cunning Little Vixen (Shermann Theatre)
