It’s a remarkably busy week ahead on the London theatre scene.

In the West End we have The Phantom of the Opera cast change and the opening of previews of the King Charles III transfer; at the Union Theatre Howard Goodall’s the dreaming opens, alongside The Me Plays at the Old Red Lion and Return of the Soldier at Jermyn Street Theatre. There’s also the opening of Little Revolution at the Almeida, and the premiere of the musical adaptation of Tess of the D’Urbervilles at the Wimbledon Theatre. And it’s all rounded off perfectly with Fairground Theatre’s The Writers’ Playground and West End Bares on Sunday.
