
04 Aug Here Lies Love Coming to the National Theatre
Fresh from taking New York by storm, revolutionary musical experience, “Here Lies Love,” by David Byrne and Fatboy Slim will be playing at the National Theatre for a strictly limited run between 30th September 2014 – 8 January 2015.
With instructions to, “dress comfortably and come ready to dance,” the new Dorfman Theatre will transformed into a club for the immersive theatrical event, as Alex Timbers’ production combines heart-pounding beats with adrenaline-fuelled choreography andremarkable 360-degree staging.
Here Lies Love traces the astonishing journey of Imelda Marcos, First Lady of the Philippines, from her meteoric rise to power to descent into infamy and disgrace.
