Peter Lockyer

Jean Valjean (from 16th June 2014)

Peter Lockyer joins the 2014/15 West End cast of Les Misérables, reprising the role he played in the US 25th Anniversary Tour. A regular on Broadway, this experienced US-Canadian is well known to Cameron Mackintosh, having played Marius and Miss Saigon’s Chris in his younger years, as well as the Phantom and Raoul in The Phantom of the Opera.

Awards:
Connecticut Critics Circle award for Best Director of a Play (2011)

Jean Valjean in the 25th Anniversary Tour of Les Misérables (US tour), Chris in Miss Saigon (Broadway and tour), Marius in the 10th Anniversary production of Les Misérables (Broadway), Les Misérables China Premiere , Rodolfo in Baz Luhrmann’s La Boheme (Broadway), Lt. Joseph Cable in South Pacific (Lincoln Center Theatre), cast member and cover Phantom, Raoul, Piangi and Andre in The Phantom of the Opera (Broadway).
